Full-time Worship Pastor Position Suwanee, Georgia

The purpose of the Worship Arts Director is to support the vision, mission, and values of Life Church International by creating an authentic and engaging worship environment through leadership, worship, and music.

Candidates must be worshippers and live a lifestyle as such. They must have formal vocal training and possess strong vocal ability. They must demonstrate competent knowledge of multiple genres and expressions of worship.

 DUAL ROLE: Worship and Arts Pastor & Worship Leader

Worship and Arts Pastor Responsibilities:

• Direct oversight of all teams in W&A (vocals, music, audio, video, lighting, pro-presenter).
• Establish and ensure maintenance of standards of excellence for all W&A teams, in accordance with the vision of Life Church International.
• Weekly staff meetings and coordination with Senior Pastor and subordinate team leads in preparation for all services/sermon series/events
• Leadership/spiritual development of team leads.
• Team building/spiritual development for entire W&A team.
• Create a culture of continual improvement and innovation for entire W&A team
• Establish metrics for success including a feedback tool in the monitoring of weekly services (in person and live stream).
• Management of annual budget as approved by Senior Pastor/Council.
• Procurement of needed equipment.

 Worship Leader Responsibilities:

• Training/development of other worship leaders
• Vocal training/development for team (technical)
• Teaching vocal parts
• Scheduling team members for services through Planning Center
• Oversight of worship sets chosen by individual worship leaders, to ensure they fall in line with the vision of LCI
• Working directly with Music Director in development of weekly song sets
• Coordination with technical director (audio, lighting, video, Pro Presenter)
• Weekly staff meetings and coordination with Pastor of W&A and Senior Pastor
• Team building/spiritual development
• Create a culture of continual improvement and innovation for worship leaders and team
